BCA Registered Contractor (L5 Grade)
To serve the procurement needs of government departments, statutory bodies and other public sector organisations for construction or construction-related government projects, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) came up with 7 major registration category and different tendering limits. The registration category determines the type of government projects that a supplier can participate in while the tendering limit awarded to the supplier indicate the scale and value of the project that the supplier can participate in.
ESCO has one of the highest qualifications from BCA:
L5 Financial Grade from BCA ME04 (up to $13 million)
EPU/AVP/10/S9, EPU/CMP/10/S9
GeBIZ has a supplier registration process in place that assess suppliers’ financial capability and other capabilities to undertake government contracts, and the type-of. The tendering limit granted to the supplier determines the scale and value of government contracts that a company can bid for.
